The Hungry Kitten - Part 4

The next day, Five sneaked to a small pond on the other side of the forest. In the pond lay a gang of Siamese fighting fish. Five wanted to make a deal with the fish. He began shaking a can of premium fish food above the lake. The Siamese gathered to the surface.

“What do you want feline!”

“I want you to take out someone for me. I’ll offer you a can of fish flakes if you do it.”

“That will require two cans, buddy!”

“What! Two cans! This is premium fish food! Do you think I’m made from cans! Do you think these cans grow on trees! Meow!”

Five furiously began kicking dirt and sediment into the pond in order to pollute it.

“Okay, okay! We will do it for one!”

Five began to snicker evilly.

Five found his brother and convinced his to go for a swim.

“Is it not a hot day brother? Let us soak our paws in the cool refuge of a forest side billabong I had discovered. What say you?

So off they went. They arrived at the pond the Siamese fighting fish lurking on its bed, hiding in the shadows and waiting to attack.

“You go in first brother; I just need to put on my goggles.”



The brother jumped into the pond. In a matter of seconds, the fish surrounded the brother, perform such dangerous and skilled martial arts that simple words cannot describe. The brother had soon perished. Chuckling, Fiver once again completed his nightly ritual before retiring at in the pen. Three down, one more to go.
